This is a great recipe from a good friend of mine, her mom used to make it – hence the name…Mama’s cheesy garlic bread.
1/3 package Velveeta
5 cloves minced garlic
1/2 stick butter
1 loaf french bread, sliced into 1/2 inch rounds
Preheat oven to broil. Soften Velveeta and butter in microwave until both ingredients can be mixed with a spoon, add minced garlic and stir. Place bread rounds and a generous spread of the cheese mixture on cookie sheet or baking tray, Broil bread until tops get bubbly and browned – about 10 minutes.
