Grilled lobster tails

DSC_0073

I used to think cooking lobster at home was very intimidating, but I have found that grilling lobster is quick, easy and delicious.  I can usually find tails at a fairly decent price (between $5-$8 per tail), whenever I see them on sale, I buy them and freeze them for later.

If I have frozen the tails, let defrost and then grill both sides for about 5-7 mins or until the meat looks opaque.  Remove from grill, let cool slightly, then cut down the center of the back of each tail to remove the shell.

Serve with melted butter and lemon.
