Snack platters and Charcuterie (a more elaborate version)

Snack platters are a life saver, when the kids are hungry or dinner is taking a little longer to get on the table than expected.

Meat and Cheese Platter

You can get creative with whatever you have on hand, but always add some fruit and or veggies to the platter – especially if this is pre-dinner.

-Meat or Seafood Options: smoked salmon or oysters, cold cuts, dried ham or jerky, salami, prosciuto

-Cheese and Crackers – any type

-Fruit or Veggies

Charcuterie Plate

On more formal occasions it’s fun to offer more unique cheeses with labels and unusual olives, nuts, sun dried tomatoes, spicy mustards, and fruit.

Caprese Bites

Skewer mini fresh mozzarella balls, with cherry tomatoes, and a piece of fresh basil.  Serve with a splash of balsamic vinegrette and salt & pepper to taste.

Bruchettabruschetta

There’s som many great options for making bruchetta but the classic is chopped tomatoes, garlic, basil and olive oil with salt & pepper to taste.
