    What I’ve learned in my first year of my composting and how it’s a game changer in the garden

    What have I learned in my first year of composting?  That I am lazy…:)  While the budget friendly composting bins are great, I am not getting around to turning them as often as I need to get the temperature up.  In my original blog on composting, I walked you through the basics.  I also shared my homemade composting bin as an inexpensive alternative to manufactured models.  This bin works great, but because of its size, was hard to turn every few days.  Without turning your compost, you are on the slow composting path, which takes about 9 months to a year to break down.  So I have invested in the…
