Easter has come and gone, but my lilies are in full bloom.  I love them for their giant blossoms and their sweet smell.  I often take an Easter lily as a hostess gift this time of year. Most people don’t think to plant their lilies outside after the holiday have passed but lilies are great perenials! Depending where you live, you will want to check the zone and heat tolerance.  Most variations of Easter lilies are hardy to zone 5.  Also, be sure to plant after the last chance of frost has passed.   While they only bloom once in the spring, their green foliage lasts all season.…
