DIY concrete bathroom vanity
My builder grade bathroom vanities have seen better days. When I looked into replacement options, I was shocked at the expense for anything quality/high end, to the tune of $1,000 and up. For next to nothing, I reused my bathroom cabinet (painted it ) and poured a concrete counter top. Add a glass bowl sink, a farmhouse industrial faucet and you have an updated look for around $150. Another affordable option would be to build open wood shelving for under the countertop, a future project for the master bath. Complete Kitchen Renovation on a Tiny Budget
Yesterday I blogged about the overall cabin renovation, but today I thought I would go into the details for the kitchen. As I mentioned before, the cabin sustained water damage throughout, which prompted the renovation. One thing led to another....We started this project by removing all the old musty carpet throughout. Then we completely gutted the kitchen area, being careful to save all the cabinetry, because we planned to reuse/repurpose all that was possible for the new cabinets. Complete Cabin Renovation on a SERIOUS budget!
We are finally done with updating our cabin. This was a big project with a tight deadline. If I didn't know before, I certainly know now how much my husband loves me. Here is the new kitchen, it is 100% built and designed by us. You could say I had my very own little fixer upper moment, but instead of a six figure reno budget, we did ours on a $4-$5,000 budget.
